Q: Do I have to be queer to join the choir?

A: No, you don't have to be queer to join we just ask that you respect those who are queer.

Q: Do I have to have choir experience to join?

A: No, you don't have to have any choir or singing experience to join. We will teach you everything you need to know.

Q: Is there an audition process?

A: No, everyone is allowed to join. 

Q: When and where are rehearsals?

A: We will start rehearsing on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 6-8pm at The Law Office of Andrew J. Mertzenich until the concert. The address is 1 N Court Street, Rockford, IL 61101.

Q: Is the rehearsal space wheelchair accessible?

A: The building has a wheelchair accessible main entrance and parking lot. The main entrance to the building is flat and has no stairs. The outside doors open by pushing them then the inside doors have an automatic door opener on each side. When you enter the building the elevator is on your right and you'll want to go up to the 4th floor. Once you get off the elevator take a right and enter into the long hallway then you'll enter on the first door on your left. Both doors on the 4th floor open by turning the doorknob there no is automatic door opener.

A: Our next concert is Sunday, October 11, 2026 from 3-4:30pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church. The address is 4848 Turner Street, Rockford, IL 61107.
